Ex-Bush WH morals legal counselor on Chaffetz: 'In the event that you can't carry out an occupation right, quit'

Previous President George W. Shrub's White House morals legal advisor on Wednesday commended Rep. Jason Chaffetz (R-Utah) for reporting that he won't keep running for reelection in 2018, calling it a "decent choice."

Chaffetz declared in a Facebook post Wednesday that he would not look for reelection. He has been skimmed as a potential contender for Utah representative in 2020, when Republican Gov. Gary Herbert's seat is up.

Painter, who served in Bush's White House from 2005 to 2007, has been condemning of President Trump's organization and the Republican-controlled Congress throughout the most recent year, frequently addressing potential morals infringement by government authorities.
